Penny Brereton is the CEO and Senior Consultant for TSM Advisory which was established in response to the lack of cross functional support between legal and consulting services.
Penny is an experienced professional in the areas commercial advisory work, including project management, risk management, compliance, financial modelling and tendering.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of South Australia.
Prior to establishing TSM, Penny held roles at BAE Systems Australia (formerly Tenix Defence) and Quest Apartment Hotels. Notably, in these roles Penny ran major projects to develop and implement customer relationship management systems as well as supporting various request for tenders and contract management in relation to national defence services contracts. As part of these contracts, Penny strengthened her skills in the areas of commercial and risk management, project management and financial modelling.
Penny's experience provides valuable skills across the full project management life cycle for out sourced contracts and extensive experience in dealing with the compliance required in the context of government contracts and other highly regulated environments.
Penny’s broad commercial experience provides TSM Advisory with full commercial management solutions for clients as well as agile project support in its objective to deliver flexible legal and consulting services.
Pip Murphy is the Director of Legal for TSM Advisory.
Pip is a former partner of global law firm Baker McKenzie where she was the head of the firm's Asia Pacific Risk and Crisis Management Practice Group, working within the Dispute Resolution and Corporate Compliance team. Here, Pip honed her skills in acting as external in-house counsel for a number of large corporate clients as well as managing and advising on commercial disputes and corporate compliance.
Pip is an Australian lawyer entitled to practice in all Australian jurisdictions (Commonwealth, State and Territory) and has extensive experience in managing and advising on commercial disputes, corporate compliance and investigations in Australia and internationally.
Pip has gained extensive commercial and executive experience in her roles at Baker McKenzie and more recently with Vannin Capital (Australia) Pty Ltd (a global third-party funder), and she demonstrates great skill in understanding and influencing legal, business and financial risk.
Pip holds a Bachelor of Law from Northern Territory University (LLB) and a Masters of Law from the University of Melbourne (LLM). Pip is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Certified Practicing Risk Associate (CPRA) with the Risk Management Institution of Australasia.

Suzie Carroll is Legal Counsel for TSM Advisory.
Suzie is a former Senior Associate with global law firm Baker McKenzie in the Dispute Resolution and Corporate Compliance team, where she dealt with a range of commercial disputes and provided strategic risk management and corporate compliance advice.
Suzie also has experience as an in-house lawyer in the Commercial and Property Legal Unit at the Department of Education and Training (Victoria) providing support on a range of commercial matters, including assessing the impact of government policy, property transactions, tendering and contracting requirements.
Suzie has assisted local, national, multinational and international clients across varied industries, including government, resource, and energy, education, food, transport, retail, manufacturing and automotive.
Suzie is an Australian lawyer and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (hons.) from Monash University and an Advanced Diploma of Business (Legal Practice) from RMIT.
Suzie’s broad commercial law, dispute resolution and corporate compliance experience, across both public and private sectors, provides valuable insight and support to TSM Advisory clients.
